Last Minute Stocking Stuffers for the Lady on the Go
It’s a couple of days before Christmas and if you’re anything like me, you might be taking advantage of Amazon Prime so you can ship some gifts across the country or to your house to wrap and put under the tree.
If you’re still looking for some gifts to get, especially for the lady on the go or a lady that likes to travel light, here are some quick and fun ideas for a variety of budgets.
I actually have all of these things, so that’s why I am recommending them! Maybe even seeing this list will spark some other ideas to pick up online or in store for that special friend.
Who doesn’t like to smell good? I don’t wear any type of perfume, I’m too sensitive to smells, but I do like to have good smelling (or not so fragrant) deodorant. I’ve been using Primal Pit Paste for almost a year; I love it. The thyme and lemongrass scent is my favorite. When traveling, I put it in a small portable spill proof container, a little goes a long way. It’s not overpowering and I’ve never noticed a body odor smell either.
This is a must read for everyone! I’ve listened to it on Audible (many times) and my paper copy of You are a Bad Ass is all marked up with highlighters and pen. (That’s how I know I love the book.) I’ve also gifted it to a lot of friends, fellow coaches, and family members. It’s definitely one to have on your bookshelf and to gift to friends who may want to unleash their inner bad ass or amazing self.
I’ve bought more than 20 copies of this book and recommended to pretty much everyone. Adventures for Your Soul by Shannon Kaiser is one of my FAVORITE books. This book has a lot of stories that any woman on any personal life journey can relate to; there are also guided exercises to complete at the end of each chapter. This one would be fun to gift to a couple of girlfriends and hold a little personal book club.
Well, I do not have this yet, but I have wanted for a while! It came to mind, as I’m a huge fan of setting goals and while I have my own methods that work for me, I’m always open to trying other techniques. John Lee Dumas is the creator of The Freedom Journal and has a very successful podcast called Entrepreneur on Fire, which I listen to almost daily. (I do prefer the female entrepreneur episodes, but all of them have great interviews and messages.)
Another gift I love to give are these Miracles Now motivational cards. I’ve shared these messages daily on my personal pages and also in some of my coaching groups and if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, I’m sure you have seen these or other inspirational messages.
Doreen Virtue is well known for her Oracle Cards and messages. I have a couple of her card decks and this is one of my favorites. It’s also the best for those that are just starting to work with Oracle Cards or curious to learn more. I choose 4 cards daily to receive my personal messages from the fairies. It’s fun and insightful.
I’m only part way through this book, but loving it! I think it’s a must read for women on a mission to make a difference in the world, but fear playing a larger role in life (or playing big, like the title). I was able to meet Tara Mohr in person when she was in the Seattle area, which was why I first picked up Playing Big. I’m glad I had the opportunity to meet her, hear her speak in person and read her book.
The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein is one of my favorite reads this year. I love Gabby’s work and I have many of her books, so I bought this one on pre-order. She was doing part of her book tour in Vancouver, Canada and a dear friend asked if I wanted to take a road trip up to Canada to see her in person. My response? “Heck YES”! We went up to see her in October. It was my first trip to Vancouver, B.C.. It was such a lovely trip as I was able to connect with a couple of fellow IIN Health Coaches on the trip. You better believe I’ve also gifted this book to many people! I think books make the best gifts. Books are the gifts that keep on giving!
Best gift ever, wouldn’t you agree? I just think an Amazon gift card is the safest and most loved gift for those you’re unsure of what to get or those you love and know are equally obsessed with Amazon. It’s a WIN-WIN in my book. (They can use it to buy anything on this list, send them this link with the gift card for ideas!)
When traveling, I always take my Clarisonic Mia with me. I’ve had mine for about 4 years and love it. It’s been around the world and across the country in my suitcase. As a teenager and even as an adult, I’ve had issues with acne and occasional breakouts; however, since using this consistently with a simple and natural face washing regimen (and good nutrition), I barely have any breakouts. A lot goes into having clear skin, but it’s also important to gently clean your skin and let it breathe; this has been one of my favorite miracle tools.
If you’re camping, backpacking, traveling around the world or even just going away for the weekend, I recommend using these packing cubes. I have multiple sets from a variety of companies, however, these ones are the most economical. I like being able to organize my backpacks and suitcase when I travel. It keeps things neat and orderly, makes all of my items easy to find. Who doesn’t like a well-packed suitcase?
Yoga mats can be bulky and a pain in the bum to pack and bring with you, this Manduka Travel Mat is the perfect travel companion. I don’t always bring a yoga mat with me when traveling, but they are nice to have. Since my workout routine doesn’t stop when I’m away from home, if you have a travel-friendly yoga mat, you can truly work out from anywhere if you have one with you. These are high quality, light travel mats designed for the lady (or man) on the go. You can even use it as a sitting (or nap) pad at the airport.
Do you see anything that sparks your interest?
Anything you want for yourself?
These are just some of the fun and practical last minute gifts I love, whether or not you’re getting last minute gifts for the lady on the go, yourself, or maybe just ideas for special women in your life, some of these are great options. I love having practical and empowering gifts to give to friends and family. If you see something for you on her, send this link to the gift giver in your life. They’ll be thankful, I’m sure!
What would you add to this list? Please share!
I’m always looking for new things to try and share with my tribe of healthy women on the go (who also like to live a healthy lifestyle). Please let me know what you love!
